my team, the amazing group of girls i have spent only a little more than a week with but i love oh so much. Gods goodness and faithfulness is literally apparent in our group, I believe that He perfectly placed us together to create beautiful community and push each other back to Christ when the race gets hard (because surprise that happens).

Our squad of 33 ish racers and leaders is divided into teams which are essentially small groups that are built for intimate intentionality within a smaller community. My team has 3 other girls & one very very amazing leader. I get to spend a lot of time with these humans so obvi i love them a lot & they get a whole blog post!! 

My whole squad is grrreat and I seriously could write a blog about the each of the them but here is a little bit of each of my teammates & why i love them : 

Abby- Abby is so wise & really gives the best advice and encouragement that leads me no where but back to Christ. She is incredibly giving and kind which inspires me to Love my neighbor better because I see it so well in Abby. Her heart is a true reflection of the Lord & what’s He’s doing in her life. 

Graceyn- Graceyn is approachable& curious. She is always eager to learn more about the Lord and who He really is. I admire Graceyn for her willingness to seek more in life by asking the hard questions & to live it outside of the box we’re all used to. 

Erika- Erika is creative & genuine. She is trustworthy & will tell it how it is if needed. Erika is observant & reads the room well. Not only can she keep others accountable but she can notice when there is something lacking & put forth her best effort to provide it. Also a water color genius!! 

Nikki- Nikki has the pleasure of leading us! Haha But God did really good with making her our leader :) She is kind, absolutely hilarious, and intentional. Nikki is a wise friend who can laugh all day but make sure there is time for what is needed in the group. She is incredibly self aware and observant. I admire Nikki for her honesty & love for others, she walks in freedom with the Lord and I look up to her so much.

We named our team “Team Manna” (w an alt. name of Earth Muffins) because it means spiritual nourishment and represents that the Lord will continuously give us our daily bread, what we need and we don’t need to worry that we won’t be satisfied. Choosing this team name is like praying a constant prayer over the group that the Lord will always show up right where we are with exactly what we need.
