Hello!! It’s been a while since I’ve actually written & sent out an update! but as you might know i’ve spent the past two months leading gap i in Gainesville,Georgia

it’s been the sweetest season watching these racers grow within themselves & each other all because they’ve chosen to grow closer to the Lord. These people have built serious kingdom already & I'm so honored to have a front row seat in it all.

I have spent these last two months walking alongside a group of 5 girls into deeper intimacy with the Lord, healthy community, & what it looks like to live missional (we’ve also spent a lot of time laughing).

I think it only makes sense to introduce you to the people who have grown my heart  & shown me Jesus in ways I didn’t even know possible.

Here’s Team ROOTED !

Avery- a woman who loves and serves others real big. she chases after the Lord with a steadfast heart & it shows in the way she lives. she is a constant friend that embodies all things good & gentle. Avery is patient, kind & the best dish washer in the whole world.

Cammie - The sweetest soul. She is bold, wise, and understanding. This girl just exudes the feeling of “home” wherever she goes. She is everyones friend & one of the best listeners. She has grown to seek the Lord’s hand in the toughest of moments & open her heart up to His healing.

Lucy- a girl that keeps everyone she meets giggling. she has opened her hands to let the Lord transform her piece by piece. she has opened her eyes to the goodness of life with the Lord& she has begun to walk in deeper honor, love , trust, and joy.she reminds me so much of myself & it is truly the biggest gift to lead her.

Ally- In short ally’s an absolute baller. But actually ally is a woman who is willing to get into the hard things in order to gain more of Christ. She is inviting & always ready to go to the deepest places with others. She lays down her life for those around her over and over & just really looks like Jesus.

Libby- She lives out 2 Corinthians 4:18 well “as we look not to the that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” She chooses into the hard things & obeys when she hears the voice of God. She is bottled up sunshine & this team would not be this team without her.

& me : a gal that’s walking in great gratitude for these friends!

little update:

just got back from 2 weeks with samaritans purse doing disaster relief that looked a little bit like tarping roofs , tearing down walls,  but a lot like loving others like Jesus. Now we’re back in Gainesville Georgia wrapping up the past month and a half before we head to costa rica this Thursday!! Thanking Jesus for who He is that only gets better as seasons come and go.

things to be praying for :

a smooth transition for gap i as they get to costa rica

divine encounters & more of Jesus !!

my heart as i spend my last month with this squad

discernment & clarity in seeking the Lord for what He has for me next !

love you !!

kayla
